An 11-year-old girl has passed away just days after meeting Ed Sheeran at the opening night of his concert in Cork.

Aoibhe O'Connor passed away suddenly on Wednesday. She was born with a rare genetic condition called mucolipidosis and has been a massive Ed fan for years.
Cork's 96 FM decided to see if they could make Aoibhe's concert experience even better and they got in touch with Aiken Promotions who helped make her dream come true.

This is Aoibhe, she’s Corks biggest Ed Sheeran Fan. Her Dad John contacted @kcshowcork in the hope of meeting Ed last Friday night. With the help of @aikenpromotions her dream came true.
